Passengers of the City Airport Train can seize the unique opportunity to check in their luggage in the centre of Vienna. In the CAT terminal, located directly in the shopping center The Mall at Wien Mitte, they can use the CAT City Check-In which operates like a mini airport terminal and thus provides the following services: drop off the luggage, pick up the boarding pass and enjoy a short and stress-free 16 minute transfer to the airport. The CAT City Check-in is ideal for travellers who want to start their vacation as comfortably as possible.

For selected airlines (Austrian, Lufthansa, Eurowings, Swiss, Croatia Airlines, Luxair, TAP and Brussels Airlines) you can even check yourself in and drop off your luggage at the Self Baggage Drop-off. This is done quickly in only 2 steps: At one of the check-in kiosks, print out your boarding pass and/or the luggage label. Attach the luggage label to your suitcase. Then you proceed to the luggage drop-off area next to the check-in desks, where you put your luggage on the conveyor belt. After you have scanned the barcode of the luggage label with the handheld reader, your luggage is transported away automatically and will be checked through to your final destination.
Our special offer for all CAT passengers: Free parking for 60 minutes in the car park of Wien Mitte The Mall (accessible via Gigergasse or Ditscheinergasse) for the evening check-in, which is available after 6:00 pm. A free parking ticket can be obtained from the staff at the CAT counter.
